Books, magazines, and books on CD can be checked out for three weeks at a time. DVDs are free to checkout. New release DVDs may be checked out for 3 days, while older DVDs can be kept for 1 week.
You can pay fees at the library by cash, check, or credit card with an active library card.
To see fees and pay online: Visit SmartPay. Enter your Signal Hill Public Library card barcode number (without spaces) and your PIN. Click Login. Click on "View Details" under the Pay Fine/Fee section. To pay online, select the fine/fee and select "Continue." Type in your billing and credit card information (Visa, Mastercard, or Discover only). When done, click "Submit".
