The first undertaking for the Foundation was the Unity Monument, dedicated in 2002 in memory of the victims of September 11, 2001. The monument is a symbol of our nation’s renewed strength and unity, blending five separate metals to form a sculpture representing our nation’s diversity.
Be a part of Signal Hill history by purchasing a brick to be engraved in Hilltop Park. Download an order form (PDF) and bring it to City Hall during regular business hours. For more information, call 562-989-7330.
Concerts in the Park is one of the Foundation's flagship annual events. In collaboration with the City of Signal Hill, the Foundation provides six weeks of outstanding, live entertainment in the beautiful setting of Signal Hill Park during July and August.
Every Spring in May, the Foundation hosts an annual Community Yard Sale. This event provides an opportunity for residents to do some spring cleaning and sell their gently used treasures in a visible location.
Send friends and family a note from sunny Signal Hill on our own note cards/postcards. Cards are $5.00 for a set of four, with proceeds benefitting the Signal Hill Community Foundation.
