The Family Food Distribution Program is available to low-income families living in Signal Hill who meet low income qualifications. Extremely low and low income Signal Hill residents are eligible for the program.
Please complete the application and attach related documents. Once completed please submit to Parks, Recreation & Library Services (formerly Community Services Department), 1800 E. Hill Street, Signal Hill, CA 90755. Forms may also be emailed to ComServices@cityofsignalhill.org or faxed to 562-989-7394. Applicants must provide current copies of the following information:
A supplement of groceries is available to low-income residents of Signal Hill over the age of 55 through the City’s Brown Bag Food Distribution Program. Groceries consist of a variety of meat, chicken, fresh fruit and vegetables, and canned goods.

Applicants must provide current copies of the following information with their application:
Food distribution for registered participants occurs once a month.
Individuals who are unable to pick up their food at the designated time may make an appointment with Parks, Recreation & Library Services to pick up their Brown Bag between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Arrangements for late pick-up must be made no later than 8 a.m. Thursday morning. The designated person will be required to present the member’s membership card at the time of pick-up.
