Requests for police reports are made at the front desk during normal business hours. The person requesting the report must fill out a request form and show proof of identity.
Insurance companies and law offices may obtain reports by mail. The report number and a check for the correct fee must be mailed with the request. All reports are $23.
Bicycle licenses are available for $1 at the front desk during normal business hours.
A request for a clearance letter from the City of Signal Hill must be made in person at the front desk during normal business hours. Please bring photo identification. Immigration/Passport Clearance Letters incur a $31 fee.
The Signal Hill Police Department provides proof of correction services to parties that were issued correctable violation citations by the Signal Hill Police Department only. We do not provide proof of correction services to individuals cited by outside agencies.
This service is provided at the Signal Hill Police Department during the hours of 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. There is a $26 fee for this service. Department personnel are not authorized to provide proof of correction services in the field. Individuals wanting proof of correction shall go to the station during the correction service hours to do so. View a list of other local providers for proof of correction.
