Fireworks are Illegal in Signal Hill

All fireworks, including those marked "Safe and Sane", are illegal and prohibited in the City of Signal Hill. Fireworks are dangerous, and can cause severe burns and eye injuries. The loud noises can be very disruptive to the community. Seniors, pets, veterans, those experiencing mental illness, and many others are especially disturbed by fireworks. Refraining from using or selling fireworks is not just the safe and legal thing to do, it's the right thing to do.

In the City of Signal Hill, the possession, sale or use of illegal fireworks is a misdemeanor, which could be punishable by a fine up to $1,000 or by imprisonment up to six months.
