Try LA County's New Voting System at the Signal Hill Public Library

Voting Center Demo

Explore the new voting experience at the Signal Hill Public Library! County officials have opened a demonstration center conveniently located inside the Library, where you can try out the new voting system for yourself.  You'll have a chance to try the new fully accessible Ballot Marking Device and preview the Electronic Pollbook. A County representative is on hand to assist you with the demonstration and answer any questions you may have. The Demonstration Center is open through November 23 during regular Library hours.

In case you haven't heard, there are big changes coming to the voting experience in Los Angeles County in 2020. Changes include a new way to mark your ballot, a modern tally system, an interactive sample ballot, a new Vote by Mail experience, and the implementation of Voting Centers.

The new Voting Solutions for All People (VSAP) system makes it easy for voters with disabilities and voters with limited English proficiency to cast a ballot. The system supports plain language and is intuitive, user-friendly, and accessible to all. It also provides all voters the ability to easily correct any errors that appear on their ballot prior to casting their ballot.

The Signal Hill Public Library is open Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays: 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., and Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. For additional demonstration locations and hours, visit https://lavote.net/democenters.
