Anime Club

Mondays: February 25, March 18, April 15 and May 20.
4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Anime is Japanese hand-drawn or computer animation. Outside Japan, anime refers specifically to animation characterized by colorful graphics, vibrant characters and fantastical themes. We'll watch anime, discuss manga, play games and have fun. Free and open to ages 12+. Register at the Library or call 562-989-7323.

National Library Week: Virtual Author Talk with Mary Shipko

A close-up and enthralling account of Mary's struggles as an aviation pioneer, this book will astound and inspire you. Aviatrix is the captivating story of one of the first female pilots to break into the male-dominated aviation industry. Seating is limited, and registration is required. National Library Week: Khmer Arts Academy Cambodian Classical Dance Performance

All ages are invited to the Signal HIll Public Library to enjoy a unique Cambodian Classical Dance performance from the Khmer Arts Academy.

We're pleased to offer two interactive story time sessions. Story Time with Raggedy Ann is designed for preschool-aged children. Story Time with the Mayor is for grades K-5.
