The Signal Hill Youth Sports Program partners with the City of Long Beach, but is still its own program. Within the program there is no competition and no score is kept for the younger participants. The Signal Hill Youth Sports program encourages participants to learn the basics of sports, develop social skills, get in the habit of exercising, grow discipline, have fun, and create lasting relationships.
The City of Signal Hill Community Services Department requires its staff, participants, spectators, and parents to recognize the following expectations in order to maintain a healthy environment.

We T.R.U.S.T. that you will demonstrate fair play and sportsmanship at all times.
The City of Signal Hill Community Services Department encourages a safe and healthy atmosphere by supporting an environment free from drugs, alcohol, violence, intimidation, or harassment gambling or solicitation, profanity, or abusive language, vandalism, or any other type of property damage.
