Sample of Daily Schedule-Small Groups
In order to better facilitate a strong sense of community within the program, children will be placed in small groups with peers close to their age.  Each group will be referred to as a "Team".  Each team will start the day with a team meeting and then move through the day based on a schedule of activities developed around the children's interests.

Itty Bitty Day Camp

Ages 3 to 6

Monday through Friday

Itty Bitty Day Camp is designed to provide children 3 to 6 with their first opportunity to enjoy the fun and friendships of day camp.  Trained City staff are on hand to provide encouraging, supportive care for children in a safe and exciting environment.  Children will spend time exploring and discovering.   
Children must be potty trained.
Will not include lunch time.  

Pre-registration is required and Signal Hill residents receive priority.  Space is limited.

Signal Hill Summer Day Camp is an exciting traditional day camp program for school age kids that keeps them safe, busy and active during the summer!  Friendly staff members organize activities for kids including games, sports, arts and crafts, science, culinary experiences and more!  Twice a week, youth excursions will be offered for an additional cost.  Pre-registration is required and Signal Hill residents receive priority.  Signal Hill Summer Day Camp is offered at Signal Hill Park.  This program is for ages 6 years - 11 years.

This year parents may reserve a spot for their child in any of our day camp programs by paying a non-refundable, $15 per week, per child deposit.  The balance of your camp fees must be paid in full by the Wednesday preceding the camp week or your child's spot will be released.

Broadway Boot Camp
During Broadway Boot Camp, campers will hone their acting skills by participating in theatrical games, musical numbers and a performance at the end of the week.  
   Spring Training Camp
During Spring Training Camp, the staff will help each child train for upcoming sports seasons.  They will play games that will help with agility, strength and reflexes

Signal Hill Tween Program
Las Brisas Community Center, 2399 California Ave
Grades 6th - 8th
Monday through Friday
3:45 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Meeting Spot: Signal Hill Park (Teens are transported to Las Brisas)
Monthly Fee: $40

Join us after school for new friends, service learning, video games, friendly competitions, arts and crafts, homework and more!  The Signal Hill Tween program meets at the Signal Hill Youth Center and tweens are transported by City vehicle to Las Brisas Community Center.  Get your Tweens out of the house and doing something fun after school! Tweens from all middle schools are welcome to meet at Las Brisas Community Center to join in on the activities. Tweens are picked up from Las Brisas Community Center.
